Your health
At Pharming we strive to develop outstanding therapies for a range of medical needs based on our unique science and technology. We specialize in the production of human proteins with healthcare potential, highly pure and in large quantities. Healthcare applications vary from treatment of genetic disorders, to repair of tissue damage during surgery and beyond.

Our focus
Pharming today focuses its research and development efforts on a limited number of therapeutic applications with high value and significant market potential. Our most advanced product is aimed at the treatment of a serious genetic disease called hereditary angioedema (HAE).
Powered by science
Pharming's proteins are produced using its innovative technology and isolated from milk of transgenic cows or rabbits. These transgenic animals are identical to non-transgenic members of the same species, but have an extra gene built in that makes them produce specific human proteins in their milk. The simple and elegant method yields the exact human protein in high quantities. In addition, the method enables for easy purification and formulation of the protein product, which makes it suitable for medical manufacturing and application.
